The lifts in Cine are extremely slow.

Went there last night with Aaron to watch Haunted Mansion. And apparently S.H.E was performing there too which explained the massive crowd outside and in. Had to wait about 10 minutes before we managed to find a lift in which we could squeeze ourselves into.

On the bright side.

I SAW S.H.E!!!!

Sort of. The lift doors suddenly opened on the 7th floor whereupon we were all temporarily blinded by a dazzling sea of bright flashes and the sight of sweaty, screaming female fans jumping and waving digi-cams around in the air going "HEBE! HEBE!!". And then in a scene akin to the parting of the Red Sea, a narrow path cleared amongst the fans and ...S.H.E passed right in front of all us gaping, tip-toeing people in the elevator! Whoo!!

I SAW S.H.E.!!!!!

Well....The top of their heads at least. I'm too short :P But wth, we all live for cheap thrills. I'm not even a fan. But at least now I can go around saying that...

I SAW S.H.E.!!!!!. And that they have nice dyed hair. XD

On the flip side, I have not rectified my sleep deprivation problem at all. Was on the phone with Joel last night for all of 2 minutes before he shooed me off to bed. I think I really should've listened to him (Kor always knows best) and just toddled off to sleep...but later found myself talking to Kboon over the phone till 2am :|

Naturally woke up today at 12pm feeling crappy. Wandered around the house like a zombie before settling in front of the PC.

And here I am typing this. Whee.

Ticketing ladies are not spared over the holidays - more calls to make to uncooperative schools. Tried calling Bukit Panjang Govt. High yesterday during recess. An extremely pointless conversation ensued. What really irks me is that this is coming out from Drama's very limited hI card money!

Me: Hi, I'm calling from ACJC drama society. May I speak to the drama teacher of the school?
Clerk: Alright...I'll put you through to her. Where are you from again?
Me: ACJC, drama society.
*classical music begins to play*
Clerk: Hello, Bukit Panjang Govt. High. Who is this calling and what is this regarding?
Me: Oh. Well. I'm calling from ACJC drama society and I would like to speak to the drama teacher of the school.
Clerk: What?
Me: ....Is there a drama society in the school?
Clerk: Eh. Hold on.
*classical music begins to play*
Clerk: *confused* Ey....what school is this calling by the way?
Me: *very slowly* Anglo Chinese Junior College.
Clerk: Junior college? *speaks to me even more slowly* But Miss...Bukit panjang....is a secondary school you know.
Me: *with a slight edge* Yes I'm aware of that but we're trying to promote our latest drama production in secondary schools too. Is there a drama society or ELDDS in the school at all?
Clerk: *long pause* No we have nothing like that.
Me: *trying not to hyperventilate* Right, never mind. Thank you. Bye.

Kelly and Michelle tried calling too. I think on the whole its been pretty unsuccessful.

Chung Cheng High Clerk: *to kelly* You listen yar...we have Chinese LDDS, we have Chinese drama society *rattles off a list of cheena societies* ...but we got no ELDDS. OK?

Michelle: Hi may I speak to Mrs -
Clerk: *immediately* She's not in. *hangs up*

Why are Clerks so grumpy? Its not good at all for their health >.<

Calling VS, both Chung Chengs and Crescent over the holidays. Will be doing up th J1 ticket selling schedule too. Wish me luck!
