There's a cricket in my mum's room which has been keeping us awake the past few nights with its humming. My dad's gloating over it. He's been sore ever since my mum banished him from the room because he snored too much and too loudly.

Dad: Hah! This is divine retribution! You shouldn't have kicked me out! Now its crickets...next it'll be frogs...then locusts...then all the water in the toilet will turn into blood...
Mum: *snaps* You think you're very funny don't you? Just keep quiet!
Dad: *winks at me*

Went for some NKF symposium today.Basically saw the CEO of the organization trying to justify why the NKF's so rich. Quiite informative but I wish it didn't have to be on a saturday morning *grouchy* Elim Chew, the person who founded 77th street, went up to talk too and it was really fun because her presentation consisted of breakdancers and her just blatantly waving $10 vouchers for 77th Street in our faces and having people rush up to grab them. She was trying to demonstrate the merit of 'seizing opportunities'. And some people definitely did that. Literally crawled over their seats for free waterbottles and vouchers.

Ah. Shoot. Really need caffeine. *keels over*
