Some people really need to get decent lives.
Instead of living out the lives of Bo, Vivian and Gang.
And assuming that people actually enjoy and appreciate
Bad, very bad, soap opreas.

And some people.
Should.
Read the dictionary
A bit more.

And some [like Sylvia says] should read between the lines.
And
Use a braincell. And.
Act accordingly.

But unfortunately.
Most. Don't see.
Which is a pity

Wheee.

Expository writing seems to be the rage now. Read an essay about Vegetarianism in class. Supposedly, going veg is the only way to stay fit and healthy. The writer wrote stuff about how "we are what we eat"...so meat-eaters are actually greatly "influenced" by what they consume and thus adopt typical animal characteristic and become more "savage" and "violent". Sheesh. She's making us out to be mini Hannibal Lectors.
Then she went on to talk about how vegetarians, like Gandhi, advocated peace and non-aggression and how noble they were.

Elaine: *from back of class* HITLER WAS A VEGETARIAN
Rupa: *stunned* Oh...well...*tries to salvage situation* as you know there are always exceptions to the rule...

After several bad episodes with their food stall, Gwen's decided that she's never going to support the Parents' Support Group.
And I still can't get to them before the hot dogs sell out :(

Just not going to support their beehoon again. [I thought it was fried rice at first] Monica Chua can go on a wild sales pitch, I don't care if its vegetarian either, if it needs tomato sauce to taste better I'm just going to go back to canteen food.

Monica Chua: Ahhh...you should buy some fishballs to go with the beehoon! Fishballs! Designer fishballs you know! Make you more intelligent! Yes? Ahh...good girl!

Ate them and felt very oily. No sudden spark in my brain either. Hm.

Pea is...quite strange.

She bought the beehoon last week. Condemned it as mousefood/rabbitfood/the ultimate Bland.

...Then she went and bought it again today.
Because she said she was sick of canteen food.
She ate about 5 spoons of the beehoon, couldn't stand it and went to Stall 3 to buy fishball soup.

Ting taught us the last folkdance today. I wonder what we'll do for PE from now on...? More dancing?
Yea, apparently, there's an interclass dance competition. So I guess the dances we learnt weren't meant to be forgotten after all.
Did another Russian dance today. Just spent the entire lesson twirling aimlessly around the parade square because the music was too fast for us to catch up. Very remiscent of the English folkdance we did 2 weeks ago. Anj and Sylv would be casting down the row halfheartedly whilst Priya and Amanda would be galloping diagonally across, now and then colliding, and me and Gwen would be twirling clockwise and then anticlockwise in the center of the row. The only part we nailed was turning around on the spot at the same time...which doesn't really say much about our dancing skills. Right. Probably doesn't say anything at all in fact.

7 free periods yesterday because Rupa didn't come. Monday's are becoming strangely relaxing. Anjali and I have time to sing opera in the classroom. Sylvia told us off after our 8th rendition of the chorus of "We are Singapore" [or whatever its titled]. Then Anjali went on to do the operatic version of Sisqo's Thong song which was hilarious only it was cut short again by more "SHUT UP!"s

Oh ushering was quite pointless actually XH. THe guest were quite adept at ushering themselves. They didn't really know how to use the aisles though. Just jumped out of their row [they were in the first row] onto the stage directly in suit, courts, VIP corsage and all. Then one of them didn't want to get up at all to receive her prize :| And the other one went back to the wrong seat.

...And then the photographer suddenly yanked me away because I was in his frame. Sheesh.
